1-2 p.m. – FREE exhibit featuring local artwork by the Susquehanna River Arts artists
3:30-4:30 p.m. – FREE reception featuring kid-friendly refreshments and magician Brent Kessler
The Peking Acrobats set the world record for the Human Chair Stack on Fox’s Guinness Book Premiere where they astounded television audiences with their bravery and dexterity as they balanced six people precariously atop six chairs, 21 feet up in the air, without safety lines!

Doing business as Klein Artworks, I have been a graphic designer for 29 years. My artwork is heavily influenced by this career. Most of my pieces are old found photographs and my own photography, which I manipulate on my computer to create a unique graphic image. All of my work is available in a variety of sizes and can also be purchased as unframed prints.

My artwork is a by-product of my curiosity into how things work and my love of life. My creativity drives me to constantly explore a wide range of styles. At my studio, I offer lessons, workshops, retails sales and artworks by commission.

I was born and raised in this beautiful area of PA. I spent my summers at my grandparents cottage on the Isle Of Que. The memories of those times and the stories we were told inspire my art very much.

My art is intended to transform the viewer to a place of wanting or a place already visited. Emotions of that experience are left up to the imagination, although subtly, by the artist persuaded.

Heidi Brandt is a pysanky artist. Pysanky is a Ukrainian egg decorating art using a batik method of egg dying. Heidi creates pieces of art using the traditional method with traditional symbols. As well, she creates her art from original designs and personalizes eggs on consignment. Heidi is also an author of a children’s book. “Chicken Pox and Posies” is a story from the author’s own life. Asked to be in her sister’s wedding, Heidi fell in love with her beautiful flower girl’s dress, but then, came down with the Chicken Pox. Find out if the flower girl walks down the aisle or is sidelined by this childhood illness.

Gail Fox is primarily self-taught and has taken classes from various artists. Her long time love of horses and equine graphite drawings prompted her to begin sketching in late 2003. Plein air painting in the Pennsylvania countryside is one of her favorite experiences as an artist. Her love for all-things-natural is captured in her art, jewelry and personality.
